Survivor fell a few tenths to around its series low. Arrow debuted at above 1.0, and lifted Supernatural. Modern Family's hour was down half a point from its season premiere two weeks ago. Chicago Fire debuted under 2.0, but close to lead-in SVU. Animal Practice dropped to a fate-sealing 1.1.

Programming Notes
TNT axed The Great Escape. HLN has bought reruns of What Would You Do?, which has only 35 episodes so far. The show will join the channel on Sunday, October 21, at 9pm-11. Media companies are so gigantic that broadcast network ad revenue comprises "only 8% of News Corp’s revenues, 7% of Disney’s, and 5% of Comcast’s," and 27% of CBS's since it split with Viacom. |
