FOX had no luck with its saturday night college football debut, as #1 USC blew out Hawai'i. ABC's game from Cowboys Stadium won the night.

Programming Notes
This Sunday night at 11:30 and 2:30am, Adult Swim will air the 2009 movie Black Dynamite.

COPS will return in mid-season, as FOX will have college football every Saturday for the rest of the year. ABC has NASCAR next week and October 13. CBS has the Women's Championship at the U.S. Open Tennis tournament next Saturday.

That episode of Punk'd where Justin Timberlake cries will rerun on TV Guide Channel next Saturday night at 1:30am.

On Sunday, September 9, ABC will rerun four episodes of Once Upon a Time (7pm-11pm).

On Sunday, September 16, the complete second season of Boardwalk Empire will marathon from 8am to 8pm on HBO2. The third season premieres on HBO at 9pm.

Daytime Shuffle, Fall 2012
Every September, most of your local stations debut new daytime series and drop others.

ABC moved General Hospital to 2pm, and gave ABC affiliates 3pm and 4pm, so that they would pick up their in-house syndicated talk show, Katie, at 4pm. More than 4/5 of the affiliates did. Out goes temporary fill-in, Good Afternoon America.

The CW dropped Dr. Drew and brought in Bill Cunningham from syndication. NBC tossed Ann Curry off the anchor couch of Today and brought in Savannah Guthrie. CBS changed nothing.
