The season premiere of 60 Minutes beat rated two tenths below Big Brother, possibly. The preliminary ratings are inconclusive on the matter. NFL overrun boosted the FOX cartoon reruns. NBC had the highest-rated regular season Sunday Night NFL game.


On the East coast, CBS's shows started 33 minutes late because of the U.S. Open Tennis Championship. FOX's shows started 11 minutes late because of NFL football (and a 5-minute X Factor promo).
