FOX Saturday College Football doubled its rating from last week's debut, as ABC had a NASCAR race (with a similar rating).
The Women's Championship at the U.S. Open of Tennis was to be played live on CBS at 8pm-10, but due to rain, was moved to Sunday at 4:30 p.m., which bumped the Men's Championship to Monday afternoon.

Programming Notes
| FX will rerun the pilot of American Horror Story at 3:30am on Thursday morning. Fall Premiere Dates: The new Fall TV season unofficially starts this week, with the NFL returning on Sunday, The Voice on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and The X Factor on Wednesday and Thursday (with Glee). On Tuesday, NBC also has new episodes (not the pilots) of Go On and The New Normal, along with the season premiere of Parenthood. ABC gets a head start on Fridays, with the season premieres of Shark Tank, What Would You Do?, and 20/20. Survivor: Phillipines begins next Sunday, September 16. FOX pairs Bones with Mob Doctor starting Monday, September 17. The NBC Thursday comedies return on September 20. The 2012-2013 television season officially begins on Monday, September 24. |
