Programming Notes
Jimmy Kimmel will move to 11:35 on January 8. Nightline will move to 12:35 and, starting in March, will get a primetime hour on Fridays at 9pm. Kimmel will have spent 10 years at 12:05. Nightline usually beats Letterman and Leno in the 18-49 demo, though it's unclear how often it wins the common half hour. ABC plans to have five new episodes of Kimmel per week rather than the current four.
This will be the final season of The Office. Despite dwindling ratings, it will likely go out as NBC's top comedy.
Broadcasting & Cable is claiming an exclusive: Michael Strahan will be Kelly Ripa's new co-host.
Good Morning America will host the CMA nominations on September 5.
'Burgeoning' Starts with 'B'
