The Olympics averaged more than 12.0 in the demo and 37 million viewers. NY Med fell to a new low. The L.A. Complex finally dropped below 0.2.

This year's primetime ratings for the 2012 Olympics have followed the pattern of the 2008 Olympics, which peaked on the first Tuesday.

Programming Notes

Based on projection made from four days' ratings, NBC says it may not lose $200 million on the Olympics after all.

Girls and Enlightened will take the place of Luck on HBO in January.
