Big Brother rose a few tenths from last week. Pre-Season football beat it by a point. The return of Once Upon a Time and The Good Wife reruns to the schedule didn't go too well. FOX's cartoon reruns held steady.

Programming Notes

Phyllis Diller died. She was 95.

NBC continues to be the only network foolish enough to regularly order series before a pilot is shot. This time, it's a 22-episode order for a single-cam sitcom starring Michael J. Fox.

Good Morning America regained its viewership lead over The Today Show starting Tuesday morning. It has yet to regain the demo lead.
