Programming Notes

Andy Griffith finally died. TV Land and TCM will be quick to capitalize.

FX bought rerun rights to Mike & Molly, set for 2014, giving FX the ability to put on an early evening block of How I Met Your Mother, Mike & Molly, Two and a Half Men, and Anger Management.

Excuse of the Day

The network may struggle ratings-wise on the scripted side, but it has shown via NFL football and reality shows like "Talent" and "The Voice" that it can still draw sizable primetime auds.
