Bachelor Pad sunk to a series low in its season premiere. Gordon Ramsay continues to win the night. American Ninja Warrior went out up two tenths from last week. A rerun of Fear Factor from December did nearly as well as last week's new episode. The CBS sitcom reruns were collectively up two tenths.

Programming Notes

Sherman Hemsley died.

NBC Sports Network will launch its own weekday morning highlights show on August 13 at 7am, called The 'Lights. It will cycle around every half hour and will have a disembodied voice rather than anchors and contributors and desks. It will be creepy like the old sports segment on CNN Headline News, probably. NBC Sports Talk will return with a makeover on August 14.

MTV's House of Style will return as a web series with 1-5 minute episodes. The microsodes could easily fit into MTV's daytime schedule, where shows have strange start times such as 12:12, 1:23, 3:08, and 4:19.

NBC ordered 10 episodes of Dracula, a co-production with England's BSkyB.
