NBC: Dragnet began in January, alternating with Gangbusters at 9pm on Thursdays. Hopalong Cassidy aired on Sundays at 6-7pm until December. The Roy Rogers Show aired at 6:30 on Sundays, beginning in December. Chesterfield Sound-Off Time rotated its hosts, Bob Hope, Fred Allen, and Jerry Lester. Four Star Revue renamed All-Star Revue.


CBS: The Jack Benny Show continued to run as specials at 7:30 on Sundays.
DuMont: Life Is Worth Living with Bishop Fulton Sheen premiered in February on Tuesdays.


Syndicated western Death Valley Days debuts on March 1, 1952 and would run until August 1, 1975. I've Got a Secret debuts June 19, 1952 and would run until April 3, 1967 on CBS. Guiding Light debuts on June 30, 1952 and ended its run on September 18, 2009 as the longest running drama.
