All three network presidents were replaced in the first half of 1958. The only fifteen-minute programs remaining are newscasts and sports filler. John Daly and the News, Douglas Edwards with the News, and The Huntley-Brinkley Report go head-to-head at 7:15 weekdays, though some NBC and CBS affiliates aired them at 6:45.

ABC: Country Music Jubilee was formerly named Ozark Jubilee.

NBC: NBC's Saturday Night News aired at 7pm-7:30. The Original Amateur Hour moved from ABC. Turn of Fate was formerly named Alcoa Theatre. Saber of London was formerly named The Vise.

CBS: Harbourmaster switched to ABC in January, and aired Sundays under a new name, Adventure at Scott Island. Leave It to Beaver moved to Wednesdays at 7:30 on March 26, 1958. The Danny Thomas Show moved from ABC, and ran on CBS until September 2, 1971.

American Bandstand debuts August 5, 1957 and would run until 1989. The 20th Century debuts on October 20, and would run until January 4, 1970. Kraft Television Theatre finishes its run after 650 episodes, May 7, 1947 - October 1, 1958. Kukla, Fran and Ollie finishes its run, October 13, 1947 (WNBQ) – May 1, 1957.

The NTA Film Network provided several programs to its 100+ affiliates, including Fox movies, How to Marry a Millionaire, Man Without a Gun, and Official Detective.
